Within a walking distance of Pilgrims Nook is The Cider Works is open for Breakfast, Lunch and Afternoon Tea Tuesdays to Sundays, as well as open for private hire for parties, hog roasts and cider tastings. An attached shop sells local wines, ciders and chutneys, as well as lots of other little bits of countryside goodness.

Restaurant Review: The Old Lantern Inn, Martin

A local pub which is just a quick drive or a decent cycle away is The Old Lantern Inn at Martin. They serve good and traditional pub food and are child friendly.
