Restaurant Review: The Duke William, Ickham

During your stay at Pilgrims Nook, if you are looking for good food in a traditional British pub, which has the great atmosphere but is child friendly (high chairs are provided for younger diners), you can't go wrong by driving out to The Duke William pub in the little village of Ickham, just outside of Canterbury for a long lunch or a hearty supper.

They have a varied fresh and local menu, as well as a bespoke children's menu.

You can eat either in the pub, in this custom separate dinning area or on a sunny day out in the quiet pub garden.

All the desserts are homemade, and this delicious chocolate fondant melted in the mouth and was gorgeous and gooey inside, served with either cream or ice cream.
